# Luke Kim

## Home

I am an entrepreneur, engineer, and investor.

I was born in Seoul, grew up in Australia, and am currently based in Bellevue, Washington.

I started my career as a [pearl diver](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pearling_in_Western_Australia) working 4-6 hours a day underwater off the northwest of Australia where I was stung by an [Irukandji jellyfish](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-jtowSWFwA).
